The 1982-83 season was arguably Universitatea Craiova's best ever in the history of the club. The Romanians reached the Semi-finals of the UEFA Cup where they were knocked out by the mighty Benfica. Although they did not reach the Final, Craiova looked great dressed in their blue Adidas shirts just like this one here.
