In 2004, even though Hagi, Popescu or Ilie were no longer on the team, Romania still had very talented players in the squad, like Mutu, Lobonț, Chivu, or Daniel Pancu. The latter made a name for himself playing for Rapid Bucharest, then moved on to Besiktas in Turkey. This vintage 2004 yellow Romania Adidas player-issued suit has the same number on the front and back that Pancu wore when playing for Romania in 2004: 11. We don't say he wore this suit in a match, but then again all the signs are there that it is player-issued. Or special and rare, however you want to call it.
